"Tea & Conversation"

"Tea & Conversation" is held throughout the year and includes an elegant afternoon tea, a short program designed to entertain and a tour of the Heard-Craig House. "Music in the Garden"      

This popular Heard-Craig series is held every Thursday evening in April.  Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic supper, picnic blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy a beautiful evening in Katie's Garden.  The programs are free and begin promptly at 7:00p.m.

"Heard-Craig Historic Walking Tours"

TheHeard-Craig hosts  walking tours of McKinney’s historic residential area and the historic downtown.  The tours are followed by a luncheon in the Carriage House.  The walks begin at 10:00 a.m.  and are led by Guy Giersch, McKinney Historic Preservation Officer, who provides the historic commentary during the tour.

"Ladies Night Out"


The Heard-Craig Center for the Arts will hold its popular fund-raiser, “Ladies Night Out,” on Thursday, May 1, 2008.  “Ladies Night Out” is an evening designed to celebrate the spirit of friendship with best buddies, favorite confidants or new acquaintances you've been wanting to get to know better.  The event will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. in Heard-Craig Hall at 306 N. Church Street in McKinney.  Guests will enjoy divine hors d’oeuvres, devilish desserts, memorable music and appreciate the good fortune of being able to shop at some of the most unique and elegant retailers in the area (all in one location).  Tickets for the event are $25 per person.  For more information or to make reservations call 972/542-5340 or 972/569-6909.
