The Heard Craig Art History Brown Bag Series is offered on the first Wednesday of every month from 12:30pm-1:30pm in the Gallery at Heard-Craig Hall. Dates for 2010 are: 2/3, 3/3, 4/7, 5/5, 6/2, 7/7, 8/4, 9/1, 11/3 and 12/1
Whether you're an art historian or just enjoy a beautiful painting, the Heard-Craig Art History series will heighten your appreciation of art and provide insight into the mind of the artist. The lectures are presented by Annie Royer who has been a studio and decorative painter/muralist for 16 years. Ms. Royer has a fine arts degree from Austin College; and has earned three Master's Degrees from Yale University in Religion and Visual Arts, East Asian Studies and the history of art. Our art history programs are offered free of charge, so that anyone with an interest in art may attend. Reservations are NOT required.
