The Heard-Craig Center for the Arts will present our next "Tea and Conversation" on Wednesday, February 10 at 2:00pm in the Carriage House. The program, by Janice Byrd, is entitled "Mark and Livy" and chronicles the love story of Mark Twain and his beloved wife, Livy. Mrs. Byrd is a free-lance writer, opinion columnist, radio book reviewer and oral book performer. Afternoon tea, featuring delicious desserts and other sumptuous delights, will follow in the Heard-Craig House. A tour of the historic Heard-Craig House will complete the afternoon.
The cost for "Tea and Conversation" is $20 for Heard-Craig League members and $25 for non-members. Reservations are required and may be made by calling 972-569-6909. Phone orders may be paid by Visa or Mastercard, tickets purchased in person my be paid by Visa, Mastercard, cash or check.
